Kinetic Kanopi is my latest body of floating Earth sculptures. Imagined and created in Plettenberg Bay, inspired by the lush and unique ecosystem of the Garden Route.This series is rooted in my lifelong fascination with the natural world. Since I was a little girl, I have collected Treasures from Nature, continuously captivated by the wonder woven into organic forms.The discovery of Land Art ignited something deeply familiar, a language that allows Nature itself to become both inspiration and collaborator.This work has set me on fire, unfurling a way of working that feels instinctive, immersive, and alive.Kinetic Kanopi brings the essence of outdoor Land Art into interior spaces, allowing collectors to bring nature into their homes, to suspend pieces of organic objects within living environments.Designed for both indoor and outdoor settings, these suspended forms are an interpretation of Nature’s quiet architecture — balancing movement, texture, and found elements.Each piece becomes a meeting point between art and Nature, where the wildness of the natural world can continue to live, move, and breathe within a space.

Meet Megs
Meg Daniel is a multidisciplinary artist whose work weaves together fine art, movement, healing, and a deep devotion to Nature.Born and raised in Johannesburg, she studied Visual Arts and Sculpture before graduating from LISOF with a Diploma in Fashion Design and later returning to fine art to study Advanced Oil Painting under artist Ernst de Jong.Meg went on to thrive as Curator at MojaModern Contemporary Art Gallery in Johannesburg, immersing herself in the contemporary art world and working closely with a diverse range of South African artists.Her path later branched into holistic health. She graduated cum laude with a Diploma in Therapeutic Reflexology and has spent the past sixteen years in private practice, exploring wonder of the human body, as a microcosm of the Earth. Meg is captivated by the profound power of the mind-body connection.Inspired by the rhythms, cycles, and quiet wonder of the natural world, her work explores the meeting place of art, healing, movement and Nature.Since relocating to the Garden Route, Meg's connection with Nature has become increasingly central to her artistic practice.Ranging from vibrant pearlescent watercolours to ephemeral land art, she explores themes that celebrate vitality, movement, and our connection to the living landscape.In her most recent body of work, Kinetic Kanopi she creates floating sculptural works from natural materials found in forests, rivers, and along the coastline, celebrating the beauty, intelligence, and transience of the living world.Guided by curiosity and a lifelong love of learning, Meg's work seeks to illuminate the threads that connect creativity, movement, Nature, healing, and the unseen forces that animate life.
Iunearthed is a collaborative land art collective of three artists rooted in Plettenberg Bay, creating site-inspired, ephemeral installations across the Garden Route and beyond. Guided by our Living Grid philosophy — the understanding that Earth is a living system of interconnected patterns, relationships and intelligence — we explore where nature, geometry and consciousness meet. In 2026, Iunearthed is proud to be part of the Plett Land Art Residency, continuing our ongoing inquiry into what it means to create in relationship with the Earth.
